Dan Reising

As a founding principal of Reising & Kennedy, Dan brings strong legal expertise having worked with local business and individuals for over 43 years. Dan’s expertise covers a wide range of legal matters which allows him to represent his clients with knowledge and depth such as: Individual and Business litigation; Appeals; Bankruptcy and Debt Management and asset protection; Tax issues, both California and Federal; Business Formation; Trust Administration; Corporate filings and management; and Real Estate and Construction Law matters. Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Reising established the Law Offices of Reising & Kennedy in 1977 in a small office suite in San Juan Capistrano. From 1977 to the present, Mr. Kennedy’s area of practice has primarily focused on Family Law and Criminal Defense.

Mr. Kennedy is a fifty year resident of south Orange County, active in his community and well established in the Orange County legal community. He is a Member of the Orange County Bar Association, the South Orange County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States Federal Courts.

Sandra A. Reising

Sandra has focused her practice on estate planning and the use of living trusts, to better provide her clients with custom estate documents, including those involving tax issues and complex family situations. She has extensive experience in the use of living trusts to achieve family goals of best providing for loved ones while avoiding probate and estate and inheritance taxes. Her practice includes the drafting of trusts, wills, and related documents, as well as the establishment of charitable foundations. Her years of experience in these areas has given her the tools to provide her clients with customized documents suited to their unique and personal estate planning needs.

Sandra received her undergraduate degree from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis., where she graduated first in her class, summa cum laude, and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue her studies for a year in Bruges, Belgium.

William E. Krall, Jr.

William’s legal expertise covers over 35 – years in Bankruptcy Law, Tax and Debt Management, Business Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury cases. His strong ability to recognize legal issues and to anticipate evidentiary problems related thereto with practical solutions and bottom-line dollar sensitivity, make William an effective advocate for his clients. William, has served as judge pro-tem, and is an outstanding member of the community, serving as pro-bono legal counsel, in several non-profit charitable organizations.

Edwin Westbrook

Ed Westbrook has been with the Vanguard University since 1985 and in 2001, he was granted tenure and promoted to Professor of Business. He served as legal Counsel while in private law practice. Since joining the University in a full time capacity Ed has filled a variety of administrative faculty positions.

In 2008 Ed was a founder and shareholder of Capital Bank, a publicly traded de novo community bank started in San Juan Capistrano with a second branch in Encinitas. Capital Bank was awarded Five Star Ratings by the national independent bank rating firm of Bauer Financial.

Ed served for over ten years as a Judge Pro Tem in South Orange County and Harbor Courts, hearing traffic and small claim cases. In 2003 Ed was admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, receiving his oath of admittance form Chief Justice Rehnquist.

His practice areas are in Civil and Business Litigation, and Estate Planning. He has been an active member of the business community, representing business and individuals for over 34 years and associated with San Juan Law Associates Firm since 2009.

Ed served on the Board of Directors of three charities: Teen Challenge of Southern California (1984-2008), Royal Family Kid’s Camps (2000-2008), and Asia Pacific Children’s Fund (2007-present).

Ed is married to Cindy, his wife of 40 years, lives in San Juan Capistrano, California, and enjoys ocean sports and travel.

Linda L. Harper

Linda’s legal practice primarily focuses on probate, conservatorship, elder law issues (including financial and physical abuse), trust administration, and estate planning (including Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney for assets and health care).

Linda has been a part of Reising, Kennedy & Reising since 1978, when she began her legal career as a legal secretary, law clerk, and attorney following her admittance to the California Bar in 1987.

Linda has diverse experience in civil litigation matters, including issues relating to real property, title disputes, landlord tenant, fraud, and non-disclosure. She has managed all aspects of complex construction defect litigation cases on behalf of homeowners, homeowner associations, developers, general contractors and subcontractors throughout California, and has worked for 2 prestigious law firms in San Diego and Los Angeles.

Throughout her career, Linda has been involved in countless mediations, achieving results appreciated by her clients. She has also been first chair for limited civil litigation cases, and second chair for complex unlimited civil litigation cases in State and Federal Court trials.

Linda is a conscientious and tireless attorney, with great attention to detail, who will always use her best efforts in working with, and on behalf of, her clients.

Eric W. Reising
